RAM presented the official frame of its electric 1500 during the Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.
In the end, the truck looks more current than futuristic, as was foreshadowed when this energy transition began.
The REV, the model name of this electric RAM, looks a bit like the Ford Lightning F-150, according to experts. This model is the RAM’s main competitor in the race for a fully electric truck.
As for the physical appearance of the beast, we can see a modern horizontal grille with a “modernized” logo and horizontal headlights, while the rear lights are merged with the panel.

The interior is inspired by the latest version of the 1500 gasoline engine and the gearshift lever is more like a button that you turn to activate the gears. As for the central screen, it’s also very similar.
As for the engine, it’s still nebulous/secret, but all indications are that it could be something like a 350 kW charging capacity, as well as an 800 V “electric architecture”.
If RAM is to be believed, the towing capacity and range will dwarf the competition. Note that the vehicle will be placed on the market in the fall of 2024.
