A bank robber ordered a cashier to pay money directly into his own account.
Paul Neaverson, 61, stormed into a high street branch of NatWest and approached the counter, telling the cashier to ”put £500 in my account”.
However, his efforts subsequently became a source of ridicule in court, with Danny Moore, defending, saying of Neaverson’s attempts: ”It was ridiculous. It only had one ending.
”He now finds himself staring down the barrel of a very long sentence.”
