Justin Bieber’s Instagram confession

Justin Bieber uses Instagram to look at ”pretty girls”.

The ‘What Do You Mean?’ singer is a huge fan of the photo-sharing website but believes it is used primarily for men to check out attractive women.

He told Mo’ Bounce from New York’s Z100 radio station: ”Instagram is about dudes looking at pretty girls, that’s basically it.

”I’m just saying that, of course girls like looking at dudes, but it’s not the same as how much dudes like looking at chicks.”

Despite his global fame, the 21-year-old superstar insists he doesn’t let being recognised wherever he goes ”rule his life”.

Asked if it can be difficult for him to go out, he said: ”I don’t want to let that rule my life.”

Justin also stressed his desire to be seen as an ”artist” rather than just a ”pop star” and admitted he thinks it is important to take a ”stand” against his record company.

Discussing how ‘What Do You Mean?’ wasn’t given to him by his label, he said:

”They’ll try to walk all over you. But if I wouldn’t have taken a stand, I would’ve just ended up being like all the other pop stars.

”It’s rare to find an artist in a pop star. Usually it’s just a pop star. Michael Jackson was an artist…. It’s not just being a performer and good at what you do. There’s a lot of people that can sing and dance, but it takes a lot to create and take it to the next level.”
