A father and son are getting married.
Bill Novak and Norman MacArthur will walk down the aisle in Pennsylvania after being a couple for more than 50 years.
Bill, 78, and Norman, 76, are not genetically father and son.
Norman was forced to adopt his lover as it was the only way the pair could legally be together.
The loved-up pair told Patch magazine: ”It was the only legal method we could use in Pennsylvania to give underpinning to our relationship.
”We were told at that time ‘hell would freeze over before Pennsylvania approves same sex marriage. We are ecstatic beyond belief. ”
