Elizabeth Hurley’s friends called Hugh Grant Grumplestiltskin

Elizabeth Hurley has revealed her friends called her ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant ”Grumplestiltskin” because he was so ”grumpy”.

The actress was with Hugh for 13 years before they split in May 2000 and he earned the nickname due to his crankiness and mood swings.

While discussing her relationship with Hugh on late night TV talk show ‘Watch What Happens: Live’, she said: ”My friends used to call him Grumplestiltskin. He is grumpy. I do (find it endearing) but not 24/7.”

Continuing to give some insight into his personality, she added: ”He remains my best friend to this day, but … I mean, I’d say this if I were sitting here, but he used to really annoy me, actually. I mean, I love him, but he’s very annoying.”

Although Elizabeth found Hugh’s personality to be grumpy, the 49-year-old beauty had no complaints with his skills in the bedroom.

‘The Royals’ star gave her former partner top marks for sexual prowess when prompted to rate Hugh’s performances.

Host Andy Cohen asked: ”On a scale of one to 10, how good was Hugh Grant in the sack?”

To which Elizabeth replied: ”Ten! I was with him for 13 years.”
