Pregnant Nicole Trunfio trapped in lift

Nicole Trunfio was trapped in a lift in downtown Manhattan.

The Victoria’s Secret model – who is seven months pregnant with her and her fiancé, musician Gary Clark Jr’s first child – was enjoying her baby shower in fellow model Jessica Hart’s New York apartment on Wednesday (03.12.14) when she and a number of other guests found themselves stuck in the building’s elevator.

Jessica, 28, had organised a pizza truck to park outside and make personalised snacks for the party – who had also been instructed to dress in blue onesies – but as the group made their way to the lower floors, the lift’s cable malfunctioned causing it to slam to the ground, trapping them inside.

A source told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: ”[They fell] several feet to the basement and were stuck for 20 minutes.”

Firefighters were quickly called to the property and were shocked to find Nicole, 28, and a host of other pyjama-clad beauties stuck inside the elevator.

The source said: ”You can imagine their surprise when they found an elevator full of supermodels in onesies piling out!”
