Man sleeps on train in nothing but socks and trainers

A drunk man fell asleep on a train wearing nothing but his socks and trainers.

Peter Davis – who was making his daily commute on the New York City Subway train – decided to take a photograph of his exposed fellow traveller and the image has since appeared on the front cover of the New York Post newspaper.

Speaking to the publication, Mr. Davis said:  »He was just really drunk.

 »He would swig from a bottle of Jack Daniel’s and then nod out. He must’ve taken four swigs in four stops. »

And while the amateur photographer himself wasn’t fazed by the man, he claims others appeared to be wary of him.

He added:  »The one thing people did was move away from him like he was dangerous. There were a lot of blasé New Yorkers that looked – and then looked back at their iPhone as if he wasn’t even there. »
