Jason Orange considering psychologist career

Jason Orange is said to be considering training to become a psychologist after quitting Take That in September.

Jason Orange is to train to be a psychologist.

The former Take That star is said to be ”fascinated by the mind” and as a result is keen to find out even more about the behavior and mental processes after quitting the band – made up of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen – in September.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ”Jason was fascinated by the mind.

”He is a great listener and is known among pals as a bit of a sensitive soul who likes to think about the big picture.”

It won’t be the first time the 44-year-old singer has dabbled in psychology education as in 2001 he did a two-year access course in the subject at South Trafford College in his native Greater Manchester.

He previously said: ”When I finally decide to get out, my main focus will be developing my interest in psychology.”

Jason – who was previously romantically linked to comedienne Catherine Tate – could look to delve into further education in other aspects as his two-year access course included biology, history and A-level English.

The star is also said to be keen to travel the world a bit more after hanging his microphone up.

A source recently said: ”Jason hated being in it first time around. He genuinely likes going off travelling the world with a backpack, being anonymous and fancies himself as a thinker. He feels he’s got his life back. He can now kick on and do what he wants to do.”
