Drew Barrymore can’t wait to turn 40.
The ‘Blended’ actress, who has daughters Olive, two, and Frankie, six months, with husband Will Kopelman, insists she isn’t worried or upset about celebrating the milestone next February.
She said: ”When I turn 40 on February 22, I’m going to heave a huge sigh of relief.
”I’m so happy to be there. I really am. You work so hard to get there, and it’s just awesome.”
The 39-year-old star also can’t wait for her eldest daughter to get a little older, so she can inherit her favorite designer shoes.
She said: ”I can’t wait until Olive can fit into my high heels. I have a wonderful shoe collection, but none of them fit since I had the girls.”
Drew, who says David Bowie is her style icon, loves experimenting with her look and recently dyed her hair from blonde to dark brown but says her children didn’t really notice.
She added to PEOPLE magazine: ”When Olive saw my dark-brown hair for the first time, she looked at me, like cocked her head to the side, and then just when on as if nothing ever happened.”
”Of all the hair colors I’ve ever tried, my favorite is red. I’d really love to go back to it. I think redheads are the sexiest creatures because they have an exotic beauty like no one else on the planet.”
