Prince George’s sleepless first night at palace

Prince George had a sleepless first night when his parents took him home to Kensington Palace after his birth, it’s claimed.

Britain’s Prince George cried endlessly on his first night at home.

Prince William and Duchess Catherine, both 32, reportedly had a tough night with their little prince when they first left hospital and retreated to their two-bedroom apartment on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

It’s claimed there was no air conditioning in the home and the little tot cried all night, keeping his parents awake in the process.

A source told Vanity Fair magazine: ”George was up so much they could barely have a conversation.”

Prince George – who turns one on July 22 – is featured on the cover of the iconic magazine’s August issue to mark his first birthday. The cover feature was written by journalist Katie Nicholl, who spoke to many close friends of the royal family.

In the article, Nicholl claims Catherine had a difficult first few weeks with George as he suffered from colic.

The article states: ”Kate expressed relief that George behaved well during his first few public appearances.

”The first few months the prince cried loudly and frequently, and he was not sleeping through the night.”
