Anthony Mackie joins Triple Nine cast?

Anthony Mackie has reportedly joined the cast of upcoming cop drama ‘Triple Nine’ which is set to be released next year.

Anthony Mackie is in talks to join the cast of ‘Triple Nine’.

The 35-year-old actor is in negotiations to join a star studded cast which includes ’12 Years a Slave’ star Chiwetel Ejiofor, Labor Day’s Kate Winslet and model Gal Gadot in Open Road’s cop drama which will be directed by John Hillcoat, according to Variety.com.

Casey Affleck, Teresa Palmer and Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul will complete the line-up of the movie which will follow a script written by Matt Cook and tells the story of a group of corrupt cops organising a major heist.

The film – which is being financed by Worldview Entertainment, Surefire and Sierra – will be produced by Keith Redmon, Marc Butan, Bard Dorros, Anthony Katagas and Chris Woodrow with Steve Golin executive producing.

Mackie will next hit the big screen in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ alongside Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson and will star in Paul Bettany’s ‘Shelter’ alongside Jennifer Connelly later this year.

Triple Nine is being slated for release next year.
