Stars attend Pepsi Art of Football exhibition

Stars including Lily Allen attended Pepsi Max’s ‘The Art of Football’ exhibition last night (02.17.14).

Lily Allen was among the stars at Pepsi Max’s ‘The Art of Football’ exhibition in London last night (02.17.14).

The ‘Hard Out Here’ hitmaker honoured the work of celebrity photographer Danny Clinch and a troupe of Banksy-style street artists, who created striking artworks of soccer stars Lionel Messi, Jack Wilshere, Sergio Ramos, Robin van Persie, Sergio Aguero and David Luiz.

The soccer players, who all have close ties with Pepsi Max, had their photographs featured on 10-by-10 foot canvases in a bid to combine the worlds of photography, street art and sport.

The event – which was hosted by gallery owner and street art pioneer Steve Lazarides – was held at London’s Victoria House and attracted big names such as comedian Jack Whitehall, Blur rocker Alex James and Chelsea soccer star David Luiz, who was one of the subjects of the artwork.

Renowned celebrity DJ Chelsea Leyland kept the music flowing as guest made their way around the exhibition.

Just 24 hours prior to the art exhibition, Lily turned heads when she accompanied her mother Alison Owen to the prestigious BAFTA Awards sporting a brightly coloured Vivienne Westwood gown.
