Chris Brown leaves rehab
Chris Brown has left rehab.
The 24-year-old star is no longer staying at a treatment facility in Malibu, California, where he was seeking help in order to »gain focus and insight » into his previous behavior to enable him to pursue his life and career from a »healthier vantage point ».
The singer’s representative told E! News: »Chris is continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is also completing his community service in the Los Angeles area. He appreciates all of your encouragement and support. »
The ‘Forever’ hitmaker was receiving lots of psychological counselling in rehab after acknowledging he has a major anger management problem.
Chris voluntarily checked himself into the center days after he was arrested for assault following an incident where he allegedly punched a man outside a hotel on October 27.
This was the latest in a string of allegations of violent behavior from the star.
Chris was involved in a parking lot brawl with singer Frank Ocean in January and he got into a dispute with rapper Drake at a nightclub in 2012.
In addition, he was sued by a California woman Deanna Gines who who has accused him of battery at a nightclub last June.
Meanwhile, Chris is still on probation for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna, 25, in February 2009.
