Prince Harry hit in crown jewels

Britain’s Prince Harry was struck in the crown jewels during a game of rugby yesterday (17.10.13).

The flame-haired royal took a blow to his private parts as a result of a tackle from former England rugby professional Jason Robinson as the pair took to the pitch at Twickenham, west London – the home of the national side – to take part in the Rugby Football Union (RFU) All Schools Programme.

The pair played a game with students from Kevin Hall school in Hull, north east England, and while attempting score a try, Harry drove forward with the ball only to be taken down by World Cup winner Robinson, whose right hand was perilously close to the prince’s nether regions.

Halfway through the game, Robinson, 39, later joked Harry was in dire need of some refreshments.

He jokingly shouted: ”Water! Water! He’s flagging!”

Robinson’s call was heard and two bottles of water were brought onto the pitch for the pair, who enjoyed some banter throughout the session.

Before the game, the former international star was hoping Harry would impress with his ball skills.

Robinson told him: ”We’re looking for a winger. I’ll be looking to see what you’ve got.”

But the 29-year-old prince replied: ”I think I’m a bit past it already.”
