Sarah Ferguson vows to tweet more

Sarah Ferguson has promised her Twitter followers she will be more active on the social networking site in the future.

Sarah Ferguson has vowed to be more active on social networking sites.

The Duchess of York took to her Twitter account to thank her 70,000 followers for their ”touching” messages on her 54th birthday yesterday (15.10.13), and she has promised to tweet a lot more in the future.

She wrote: ”Thank you to all my kind followers who wished me Happy Birthday. I am very touched and hope to be back on tweeting more regularly. (sic)”

Sarah has written just 431 tweets on the social networking site after becoming a member more than a year ago, but she has used the micro-blogging page wisely to promote her charity work and praise her family.

Earlier this year, the duchess was full of praise for her ex-husband Prince Andrew – who joined Twitter himself in July – and the work he does on trips abroad while representing the British Royal Family.

She wrote: ”I am so proud of Prince Andrew, The Duke of York for succeeding in a gruellingly busy trip to India.

”Great Britain should know of his committment and hard work to this country!

”Yesterday HRH visited The Stone of Remembrance in Kohima to lay a wreath in memory of all the war victims…

”The Duke has been a hit in India+has made such an impact on behalf of the UK. India is so taken by him. (sic)”

Last year, Sarah took to Twitter to reveal how ”proud” she was of her and Andrew’s daughter Beatrice for graduating from the University of London’s Goldsmiths College, in New Cross, south east London, with a 2:1 honors degree in history.

She wrote: ”Beatrice graduating today from Goldsmiths today. So proud of her achievement. As all mothers/parents are, well done… All graduates. (sic)”
