Simone Callahan denies fault in Shane Warne’s split

Shane Warne’s ex-wife has denied she caused his split with Elizabeth Hurley.

The 48-year-old model-turned -actress reportedly called time on her two-year engagement with the cricketing legend after growing suspicious of his cozy relationship with his former spouse, but Simone Callahan has rubbished claims she drove a wedge between the pair.

She is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: ”There are definitely no feelings [between Shane and I] there. It’s laughable really.

”I hope he and Elizabeth can work things out as they seemed happy together.”

Shane – who has been dividing his time between the UK and Australia – ended his 10-year marriage to Simone – the mother of his three children, Brooke, 16, Jackson, 14, and 11-year-old Summer – in 2010 and quickly began dating Elizabeth before popping the question to her less than a year later.

The 44-year-old sports star is determined to patch things up with the brunette beauty and even flew to the UK last week to clear the air, before charming her with a lunch date in Fulham, west London.

However, the ‘Gossip Girl’ star has since been hiding out at home refusing to see anyone, apart from her immediate friends and family, while she comes to terms with the split.
