Rochelle Humes’ daughter is being mistaken for a boy

Rochelle Humes is annoyed that her four-month-old baby girl Alaia-Mai is being mistaken for a son and thinks she should start dressing the tiny tot ”like a meringue” to stop the confusion.

Rochelle Humes is upset people think her daughter is a boy.

The Saturdays singer had her first child, four-month-old Alaia-Mai, with husband Marvin Humes in May and is concerned that the tiny tot’s gender is being mistaken for the wrong sex.

Taking to Twitter, she said: ”Ahhh he’s so cute, how old is he?” HE is a girrrlllllllll! *gets massively defensive* LOL (sic).”

The 24-year-old star has joked she might start dressing her baby girl in bright pink outfits instead of neutral colours in a bid to stop the confusion.

She explained: ”I always dress her in beiges creams and greys…I refuse to dress her like a meringue! Maybe I should haha xx (sic)”.

The brunnette beauty has favoured ”cute” traditional trends when it comes to baby attires and has chosen to put Alaia in costumes that resemble characters from the period drama ‘Downton Abbey’.

She said: ”I love the traditional baby clothes #oldschool so cute #downtonabbeybaby lol xx (sic)”

Rochelle and Alaia were involved in a car crash earlier this month after a vehicle smashed into the back of their car, but luckily mother and daughter were both unharmed.
