Britney Spears’ Las Vegas residency is on track to be the ‘best selling show int he history’ of the city, according to her manager Larry Rudolph.

Britney Spears is making history in Las Vegas.

Despite conflicting reports about ticket sales for the singer’s ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ residency, which will kick off on December 27, her upcoming series of concerts is now being called the ”best-selling show in the history of Vegas” and the performances are almost completely sold out.

The ‘Work B***h” hitmaker’s manager Larry Rudolph told EOnline.com: ”This is the best-selling show in the history of Vegas. We have a great thing going here. We have a great show we’re putting together. We have nothing but green lights ahead of us. We have amazing sales.”

Another source told gossip website TMZ.com that only 3,358 tickets are still available to the 32-year-old singer’s first 16 shows as she has already sold 70,242 tickets out of the 73,600 that went on sale last week.

Britney will perform 48 shows a year for the next two years as part of her $15 million deal with the Planet Hollywood Hotel.

The blonde beauty previously said she plans to sing live and pull out all the stops for the shows.

She said: ”We are going to have all the works – snow, water, rain, everything. Every time I do a show, I like to really bring it. I love to put on a show that will really entertain fans. We want the feeling that fans will be in the show with me.”
