One Direction warn fans away from snake territory

Liam Payne warned fans to stay away from the hotel where One Direction were staying in Barossa Valley near Adelaide, southern Australia, as it was in snake territory.

One Direction fans risked getting bitten by venomous snakes in order to see them.

The ‘One Thing’ band’s Liam Payne sent a stern warning to girls camping out near the boy band’s hotel in Barossa Valley near Adelaide, southern Australia, as they were in an area populated with eastern brown snakes – the second most venomous in the world.

Liam tweeted: ”Girls behind the hotel please get out the fields there’s a huge sign saying snake habitat it’s just not worth it someone’s gunna get hurt (sic)”

An hour later the boy band hunk was concerned the girls were not listening to his plea, and repeated his warning.

He added: ”Are u not reading what I’m saying it’s a SNAKE HABITAT TURN AROUND (sic)”

Eastern brown snakes are known to chase humans and in certain cases their bites have caused death. The area around the resort contains a number of warnings to people not to stray from designated paths because of the dangerous reptiles.

One Direction – completed by Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Harry Styles – kicked off the Australian leg to their Take Me Home World Tour on September 23 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and will perform in three further locations before touring the rest of the country and heading to neighboring island of New Zealand.
