Prince George’s life to be ‘carbon copy’ of William’s

Prince George’s life is expected to be a ”carbon copy” of how Prince William was raised.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be keen to bring up their one-week-old baby in a similar style to how the late Princess Diana – who died in a car crash in 1997 – taught William and Prince Harry to try to lead a ”normal life”.

A friend told PEOPLE: ”It’ll be a carbon copy of how William and Harry were brought up, because of their mother.

”However she’s painted, her greatest legacy is her sons. The way they’ve been brought up and the way she taught them to think for themselves and to lead a normal life.”

Graham Butland, Chief Executive of East Anglia Children’s Hospices – a charity which Catherine, who was known as Kate Middleton prior to her nuptials, works with frequently – also believes the duchess is a ”natural” with kids and doesn’t expect her to change while bringing up her and William’s first child.

He added: ”There’s a bit of Diana influence – she brought up William and Harry quite differently to the way that Prince Charles was brought up. And I think there’s a natural development as the Royal Family adapts and changes to a different way.”

”I don’t think Kate will change. Having seen her interact with children … and [overhearing] the conversations that she’s had, she’s just so natural. She has a rapport with children.”
