Prince Harry to attend 2013 Warrior Games

Britain’s Prince Harry will be jetting out to Colorado Springs next week for the 2013 Warrior Games, which start on May 11.

Britain’s Prince Harry will be attending the 2013 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs.

The 28-year-old royal is set to jet out to the Rocky Mountain state next week for the opening ceremony of the sporting event at the Olympic Training Center on May 11, where he will enjoy displays such as a volleyball exhibition on the first day.

Harry – who served as an Apache helicopter co-pilot gunner during his four-month stint in Afghanistan last year – will also watch the cycling competition at the Air Force academy’s Falcon Stadium.

After his brief stint overseas, the prince will return for his musical surprise at the Chelsea Flower Show, which this year celebrates its 100th anniversary on May 21 to 25.

Noticing the silence without any harmonies at the event, Harry – who will have a ”forget-me-not” garden as part of the display – has had a special song commissioned to add to the experience.

Jinny Blom, who is designing the garden for the prince, said: ”He doesn’t like to encroach too much, but he did say it was lacking music.

”I have commissioned and composed a piece for the garden that will play very quietly while it is on show.

”I think it is the first time that there has been music in a garden at the Flower Show on every day, rather than just on the press day.”
