Eva Mendes dreams of building her own house.
The 39-year-old actress loves to fill her time re-decorating and updating her homes so they are beautiful, and she hopes one day to create a house from scratch.
Speaking to LOOK Magazine, Eva – who is in a relationship with Ryan Gosling – said: "I’m a frustrated interior designer inside, so I renovate houses. They’re mine, not other people’s. I would love to design my own house and build it."
Eva’s passion for design just doesn’t stop at houses as earlier this year the sexy star signed up as ambassador for New York & Co and is releasing her own cocktail and evening dress collection entitled ‘Eva by Eva Mendes’ this autumn, and she cannot wait for the world to see her collection.
She said: "I embrace fashion and it’s the fun part of what I do!"
Eva insists she will definitely not be using fur in her collection and is disappointed so many designers want to cause animal cruelty for the sake of fashion.
‘The Place Beyond the Pines’ actress – who once posed nude for PETA for an anti-fur campaign – said: "Within the fashion industry I can’t believe designers still use real fur in their designs when it’s so easy to make faux fur. It’s cheap and looks great."
