Lindsay Lohan’s dad lashes out

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father Michael Lohan has lashed out her lawyer for Mark Heller for ‘cashing in’ on his daughter

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father has accused her lawyer of "trying to cash in" on her.

Michael Lohan forced her attorney Mark Heller to cut short a press conference outside a courthouse in Los Angeles on Monday (03.18.13) despite being happy that the actress plead "no contest" and accepted a deal to undergo 90-days of treatment in rehab.

Michael was captured on video interrupting the New York lawyer as he expressed his pleasure with the outcome of the court battle, while stemmed from Lindsay, 26, lying to police about driving during a car accident last June while on probation for stealing a necklace in 2011.

Addressing Mr. Heller, Michael yelled: "What are you still doing here?" before launching a bitter attack on him.

He said: "This guy is trying to cash in on my daughter’s notoriety for his own professional interests."

The 52-year-old also accused Mr. Heller of owing him money and made further claims he isn’t licensed to practice law in New York.

According to gossip website TMZ.com the lawyer is also set to be investigated by the Santa Monica City Attorney for trying to tamper with a witness related to the case, believed to be Lindsay’s former assistant Gavin Doyle.

An insider said that prosecutors believe he may have approached Gavin and tried to get him to say that he was the one driving the car when Lindsay hit a cement truck on the Pacific Coast Highway last June.

The drama unfolded after the ‘Mean Girls’ star accepted a deal to enter rehab for three months, after which she will perform 30 days of community service.

She must also undergo 18 months of psychotherapy and abstain from all illegal substances.

The actress was 48 minutes late to court after being forced to borrow a private jet from beverage company Mr. Pink to get to the court house from New York in time after failing to fly on two commercial flights.
