Julien Macdonald to design Beyoncé’s tour outfits

Designer Julien Macdonald has been asked to create Beyoncé’s stage outfits for her Mrs. Carter world tour.

Beyoncé has asked Julien Macdonald to design her tour outfits.

The superstar reportedly approached her favourite British designer to create the stage looks for her 59-date Mrs. Carter world tour, which kicks off on April 15.

A source told The Mirror newspaper: "Julien is a huge Beyoncé fan so he’s really excited about producing some custom-made, bespoke outfits.

"This is a huge coup for him. Bey loves his work and has often worn his outfits."

Outspoken Julian is known for his super sexy aesthetic and love of sequins, perfectly in keeping with Beyoncé’s glamourous look.

The pair first worked together in 2011, collaborating on several items, and the Welshman also designed the sparkly bodysuit for her New Year’s Eve Las Vegas concert.

‘Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model’ judge Julien has dressed the likes of Kylie Minogue, Naomi Campbell and Selena Gomez for the red carpet.

However, the hot-headed designer memorably slammed former celebrity fan Cheryl Cole’s personal style at a party, and the singer has revealed she will never work with him again.

Cheryl raged: "You have no idea how he ranted and raved. It was at a time when I was really fragile and vulnerable.

"I was like, you have no idea what I’m going through. I will never have a working relationship with that man again."
