Brandi Glanville wants to "coexist peacefully" with LeAnn Rimes.
The ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star doesn’t think she can ever be friends with her love rival – who began her relationship with now-husband Eddie Cibrian while he was still married to Brandi – but is hopeful they can establish an amicable relationship for the sake of her children Mason, nine, and five-year-old Jake.
Speaking about her new tell-all book, ‘Drinking and Tweeting and Other Brandi Blunders’, Brandi explained to ‘Access Hollywood’: "I’m ready to put it behind me … This [book] is my final chapter, this is me closing the door on our public fight. I want it out of the media, I’ll just deal with it as best [as] I can with them.
"We don’t have the best communication or relationship right now but, I’m hoping we can change that. I don’t think we’ll be friends, but I hope we can co-exist peacefully.
"I think once she has a child of her own, I think she will understand boundaries and what’s respectful to do and how to handle things a little better."
Although Brandi, 40, has previously admitted she still loves Eddie and lashed out at LeAnn, who was married to Dean Sheremet when she struck up a relationship with Eddie, she hopes the couple will remain together "forever" for the sake of the children.
She continued: "They’re my children. I know what’s going on only 50 percent of the time that they’re with them … My children are my life, they come first.
"I don’t want anything bad to happen to [Eddie] because he’s the father of my children. I want him to work and flourish and I want him to stay with LeAnn forever.
"I don’t want my kids to go through another divorce or breakup and I want to make sure she’s stable and happy."
