Jordin Sparks has become more "adventurous" with her fashion sense.
The former ‘American Idol’ winner says she is starting to take more risks with her outfits, especially when it comes to prestigious red carpet events.
She said: "Instead of wearing something because I know it will accentuate my positives and look good, I’ve become adventurous. I know I’m not this edgy and crazy person, but that AMA dress was so different for me. So I just said to myself, ‘I’m going to try it.’ I ended up loving it!"
However, when it comes to her everyday wardrobe, Jordin says she goes for comfort and practicality over high-end fashion.
Jordin – who has lost 50lbs since winning ‘American Idol’ in 2010 – told People magazine: "I got these really cute sweater dresses because Arizona [her home state] has bi-polar weather. They’re light enough [that you’re not hot], but still heavy enough to keep you warm. I pair them with some funky boots and then add some sparkle and glitter."
