William and Catherine will have part-time nanny

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will only hire a part-time nanny when their baby is born as they want to be as hands-on as possible.

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will only hire a part-time nanny.

The royal couple – who recently announced they are expecting their first child together – don’t want to have full-time help once their baby is born as they are keen to be as hands-on as possible.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: ”They want to be as hands-on as possible. But they still have royal duties they need to attend to that they can’t possibly fulfill without some help. Kate wants to return to her work as a volunteer for the Scouts, and other charity organizations. They also want to make sure their little bundle of joy gets a taste of life outside palace walls.”

The couple also want their child to have an outdoorsy lifestyle as that’s what they both enjoy.

The source added: ”They’re very outdoorsy. I’m sure it will be the same with the kids – playing outside and going for walks.”

Prince William and Duchess Catherine – who also goes by her maiden name of Kate Middleton – don’t want their child to be spoilt and will be very strict with their offspring’s upbringing.

Richard Dalton – who used to be William’s mother Princess Diana’s hairdresser – told new! magazine: ”I don’t envisage [William] or Kate allowing their child to be spoilt – far from it. I should think they’ll both be quite strict.”
