Dita Von Teese dyes her hair every two weeks.
The burlesque dancer is famed for her raven locks but admits she’s actually a natural blonde so has to dye her tresses regularly, which she does herself.
She said: "I’m a natural blonde, but I prefer being dark. I dye my hair every two weeks – I do it myself. But I only wash my hair every two or three days, so my color doesn’t fade."
Dita, 40, also doesn’t like to leave the house without her trademark red lips, but admits it means she can’t do certain things.
Dita – who is known for her glamours image – told Now magazine: "I always wear a lip liner base before I slick on my lipstick, so it doesn’t slip off. You have to be wary of your lipstick when you wear red – you can’t really eat cheeseburgers and still keep it in place. Discipline is required!"
