Where to eat, see and be seen during Paris Fashion Week

The Bar at Hotel Crillon, which will be overtaken by ‘Vogue’ magazine during Paris Fashion Week.

(Relaxnews) – Globetrotting between New York, Milan, London and Paris can stir up quite an appetite, even among those with the smallest of stomachs. As the world’s most stylish, beautiful and, let’s face it — waifish population — wraps up their marathon month of fashion weeks in Paris, Relaxnews takes a look at the hottest hotels, restaurants and bars in which to see and be seen, in the City of Light.

Hôtel de Crillon, The Bar, Les Ambassadeurs, L’Obé
You could call it ground zero for Paris Fashion Week, given that it’s here where Vogue magazine takes up residence and suites are filled up with fashion writers, editors, designers, photographers and models during the two-week event. Want to spy on some of the most powerful people in the biz? Shimmy up to The Bar, where, along with fancy cocktails and dainty hors d’oeuvres, air kisses and bisous will be in no short supply. The hotel also hosts a Lancôme makeup station for makeovers and personalized consultations.

Pop-up collaboration between Bob’s Kitchen in Paris and Brooklyn eatery The Fat Radish
It’s a collaboration between two like-minded eateries on either side of the pond. Menus at both restaurants sell healthy, organic and seasonal fare for an equally healthy clientele. It comes as no surprise that Bob’s Kitchen should host a Paris Fashion Week event given its cult-like following from the impossibly leggy, hipster, fashion set. Details of the €85 menu are sparse, but menu items on the regular Fat Radish menu in Brooklyn include olive oil poached cod, warm potato salad and leeks and pork chops with braised fennel and tomato jam. The pop-up series runs September 26 – Oct. 2 from 7:30 to 10 pm. For more info, visit www.thesportingproject.com.

Four Seasons Hotel George V
To pamper sore, tired – but immaculately manicured — feet following days of hitting the pavement in sky-high Jimmy Choos and Louboutins, the Four Seasons hotel in Paris is offering Fashionista Foot Soothing treatments for €120. Afterwards, march those soothed feet to Le Bar or La Galerie for a pre-dinner apéro drink where you can people-watch with a cocktail and be serenaded by an in-house pianist. Then, head over to the two-Michelin starred restaurant Le Cinq for a classic, French meal where the décor may very well offer stiff competition to guest attire.

Club Silencio
It’s perhaps one of the most exclusive clubs in Paris, thanks in part to the star power of its creator, David Lynch. Launched last year, the members-only club screens applicants with preferential treatment given to artists who have deep pockets.  In the profession category, for instance, boxes to check include fashion, literature, music and design – accountants, it seems, need not apply. Membership fees also range from €420 (for the under-30 crowd and foreigners) and €1500. As such, the subterranean cavern club is expected to attract a bevy of celebs and beauties during fashion week.

The W Lounge at the W Hotel Paris-Opéra
After opening to much fanfare earlier this year, the W Hotel has quickly become one of the hottest addresses in the city for the young and the hipster-ish. Unlike other grand hotels in Paris, the W Hotel eschews old world grandeur in favor of contemporary glitz within an 1870s Haussmann era building. With a roster of some of the hottest DJs spinning every weekend, the W Hotel is poised to be a Paris Fashion Week destination, given its prime location at the heart of the city, steps from major department stores Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps, and within striking distance to the Louvre and the Tuileries gardens.

Cantine California and Le Camion Qui Fume
For those without a gajillion dollars to spend on one single dinner – or cocktail for that matter – Relaxnews offers the budget-conscious but no less fashionable fashionistas the names of two of the hottest dining destinations in Paris: Cantine California and Le Camion Qui Fume (The Smoking Truck). Both roving gourmet food trucks have gained cult followings among the city’s underground, hipster foodie-types, resulting in mile-long queues for the organic tacos (Cantine California) and gourmand burgers (Le Camion Qui Fume). Perfect for the busy fashion journalist or buyer hopping from one show to the next. Follow their Twitter accounts and web pages for locations.
