Carly Rae Jepson says making her debut album was the "most fulfilling experience".

The ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer will release her first record, ‘Kiss’, on September 18 and can’t wait for people to hear the results

She said: "These are lyric and song ideas that I have been collecting over the years. I can’t tell you how lucky I feel to be able to collaborate with some of my dream producers. It has been the most fulfilling experience.

"The record is pop. It’s inspired by Robyn, The Cars, Madonna, and believe it or not, James Taylor. I can’t wait to share it with everyone! Kiss."

Carly, 18, says one of her favourite songs on the album is ‘This Kiss’ which features Redfoo from ‘Party Rock Anthem’ duo LMFAO.

She told MTV: "There’s one particular song that I can’t wait to share called ‘This Kiss’ that I wrote with Matthew Koma and Redfoo. The sound is definitely in my vein, but Redfoo’s a really brilliant guy, and I think, if anything, when a collaboration happens, it’s a little bit of everybody that makes it what it is. So maybe not just me and not just him, but us together."
