The Canadiens held a training session this morning to prepare for the visit of the Golden Knights.
The first thing to watch for was whether the absentees would return to practice. Yesterday, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, Jordan Harris and Mike Matheson were absent.
Obviously, if the two defensemen can’t play tonight, a recall will be necessary. After all, without Matheson and Harris, the Habs only have five healthy defensemen.
If only the CH had only two goaltenders – ah well, never mind.
The first thing to note is that Rafaël Harvey-Pinard was not on the ice with the others. For the second day in a row, he was absent.
It doesn’t look good for tonight. Michael Pezzetta could (or should) take his place.
Rafaël Harvey-Pinard out of practice for 2nd day in a row.
Jordan Harris back on the ice.

At least Jordan Harris was present. We can’t say for sure that he’ll be at the game just based on his presence at practice, but it’s a good sign.
We’ll see what Martin St-Louis thinks after practice.
Josh Anderson was present, of course. And we noticed when he took a wrist shot and scored against the club’s #3 goalie, receiving a round of applause.
Think his lethargy is weighing on him?
Josh Anderson rips a wrist shot from the slot past Cayden Primeau at the morning skate. The *entire* team cheers.
