Nicole Richie won’t tell her friends where to buy the best vintage clothes.
The fashion designer – who is Lionel Richie’s daughter – admits she can be ”selfish” when she finds out a great place to purchase second-hand garments and would always rather keep it to herself.
She said: ”Well I’m very selfish and I like to keep where I find my vintage clothes a secret.
”I’m constantly looking for the local flea markets, some cool underground places. I’m really just looking for something that represents me.”
Nicole – who has daughter Harlow, four, and two-year-old son Sparrow with husband Joel Madden – claims she never looks at the label when she buys clothes because she just wants items that feel good on her.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: ”I’m always one to never really focus on the actual label.
”I dress for myself and I encourage women to do the same. I don’t buy myself something because it looks good on a hanger and has a high price tag. I shop at thrift stores all the time and every time I go to an event, I’m not buying a new dress.”
