1. Wild still unbeaten under John Hynes
Due to a poor start to the season, the Wild fired coach Dean Evason. The dismissal came at a good time, as since the hiring of John Hynes, the team is 3-0.

On the losing side, Connor Bedard picked up an assist on his team’s only goal.

2. Anze Kopitar becomes the Kings’ all-time leading passer
Last night, Anze Kopitar made history. The Slovenian picked up an assist on Quinton Byfield’s goal.
He thus became the best passer in franchise history.

3. Artemi Panarin hat trick
Yesterday, the Rangers, now the best team in the NHL, faced the San Jose Sharks, the worst team in the NHL.
Logic was respected, but it was a close game.
A 6-5 Rangers victory.

4. Brad Marchand’s natural hat trick
The Bruins have won their last two games, but prior to this streak, they had lost four of their last games.
Boston seems to be back on track.
Yesterday, the club defeated the Blue Jackets 3-1.
Captain Brad Marchand led by example. He too scored a hat trick, but a natural one. A natural hat trick is when a player scores three goals in a row.

5. Filip Forsberg the scorer
Filip Forsberg is off to a great start this season. The forward has 13 goals and 15 assists in 24 games.

The Preds finally won a defensive game by a score of 2-1.
The Sabres’ only goal came on a penalty shot by Victor Olofsson. And he thoroughly undercut Juuse Saros.
