Kiss and Motley Crue announce co-headling tour

KISS and Motley Crue are to stage a huge co-headline tour of the US later this year.

KISS and Motley Crue are to stage a huge co-headline tour of the US this summer.

The glam rock groups – both famed for their elaborate stage sets and debauched antics – are promising spectacular shows on the tour, set to take place from July to September.

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil told the Las Vegas Sun newspaper: "It’s going to be really cool because KISS is bringing their full stage show, and Motley will be bringing our full stage show, so you are going to see two huge headliners at the same time.

"It’s going to be one of the biggest tours of the summer, if not the biggest."

Vince – who is based in Las Vegas – thinks his summer will be "perfect" as not only is he on tour, but he is also opening a strip club.

He added: "It’s a dream come true. I’ve been going to strip clubs my whole life, so I might as well own one.

"It’s going to be a great summer, and now every time I get back home to Vegas between shows, I’ll have my own strip club to hang out in – it’s all perfect!"

Motley Crue are touring Europe on their own in June, while KISS will headline the Sonisphere festival in the UK on July 6. The ‘Detroit Rock City’ group are also planning further dates in Europe, Australia and Japan for next year.

Dates for the KISS and Motely Crue co-headlining tour are expected to be announced next week.
