Slash offers free video to fans

Guitarist posts free clip from his upcoming Made In Stoke 24/7/11 concert DVD.

Iconic guitarist Slash – who rose to fame with the heavy metal band Guns N’ Roses – is gearing up for the Made In Stoke 24/7/11 DVD release of his solo show, and to celebrate, he’s offering fans a free download of Back From Cali on his website, reports Music News.

The live recording was filmed in July at Victoria Hall in Slash’s hometown of Stoke-on-Trent in the U.K. The guitarist was on world tour in support of his self-titled debut solo album.

Available on both DVD and Blu-ray, Made In Stoke 24/7/11 features 15 tracks from both Slash’s solo career and his work with Guns N’ Roses, Snakepit, and Velvet Revolver, including Rocket Queen, Civil War, Sweet Child O’ Mine, and The Sword.

Both formats will also include bonus features such as an interview with Slash and Myles Kennedy, who performed the vocals during the tour, and a featurette staring Slash’s Uncle Ian.
