International cosmetics franchise The Body Shop is bringing back an old favorite with the return of its hydrating and soothing milk bath – now with a new, improved formula and reusable drawstring bag.
The Soya Milk Foaming Bath Powder is a fresh take on a popular past product, now using community fair trade organic soya oil from Brazil and vitamin E to help it work even better.
"Canadians from coast-to-coast have been asking for the return of our nostalgic, cult favorite, milk bath product for years," noted Diane Sonnenberg of the Body Shop Canada.
The reusable drawstring bag – made from organic cotton and created by a community fair trade supplier in India – makes it easy to tailor the amount of milk bath to each person. Simply add the foaming powder as the bath is running and the water will turn to a rich, milky shade.
The use of restorative milk baths dates back to ancient Egyptian times, as milk was said to work wonders for skin: the lactic acid is believed to help gently remove dead skin cells to soften and cleanse the body.
Retailing at $8 per bag, the Soya Milk Foaming Bath Powder is now available in retail stores and online.
