Yesterday (November 8), a supposed demo of Madonna’s next single, Give Me All Your Love, surfaced on the Web.
When asked if it was actually Madonna singing in the online version, her representative said: “It sounds great. Can’t wait to hear the real version.”
While it’s not an out-and-out denial, the rep seems to indicate that this is an unfinished version of the song.
Although it appears the content has since been removed from the Web, according to Hit Fix, the song was reminiscent of ’80s girl groups like the Bangles and opens with a cheerleader chant similar to Toni Basil’s Mickey: “L-U-V, Madonna, Y-O-U, You Wanna.”
All of this sounds like a pretty good indication that the singer will be performing this new single for the half-time show at the next Super Bowl, February 5.
