Madonna working on new album for 2012

Collaboration with Nicki Minaj and MIA may debut at Super Bowl.

Pop star Madonna has been working on a new album over the summer, and collaborating with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, reports MTV News.

The three women are rumored to be performing the album’s debut single Give Me All Your Love at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on February 5.

Having recently launched the Material Girl clothing line with daughter Lourdes and directed the feature film W.E., Madonna has spent much of the summer in the studio working with Ray of Light producer William Orbit, as well as French DJ Martin Solveig and Italian DJ Benny Benassi.

Eleven tracks are reportedly completed for the album, which is said to have a ‘pop dance’ feel typical for Madonna.

Tentatively slated for a spring release, this will be the singer’s twelfth studio album, following up 2008’s Hard Candy.
