Nicole Scherzinger bundles up with London Fog

X Factor judge models winter 2011 line of coats and jackets.

American outerwear manufacturer London Fog has unveiled the first images of their upcoming winter 2011 campaign, starring X Factor judge and former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

The performer shared a sneak peek with her fans through Twitter: "I can finally announce that I’m the new face of London Fog! Such a classic brand, take a look!" she wrote.

In one of the new print ads, Scherzinger wears a mid-length quilted black winter coat – and nothing else. Belted tightly at the middle, the otherwise-unfastened coat gaps at the top and bottom to make it clear the performer is going nude beneath it. Another shot shows her in a black trenchcoat, a bare leg peeking out from beneath the hem, while a third shows her in a risqué pose, wearing only a knee-length, fur-lined winter coat.

Scherzinger replaces Mad Men star Christina Hendricks as the face of the brand, following in the footsteps of celebrities like Eva Longoria and Gisele Bundchen who have also previously modeled for the label.

"Christina Hendricks was fantastic for us, but she was more classic and tailored," the brand’s chief marketing officer, Dari Marder, told WWD.

"Nicole is a little more modern and contemporary. She has a really fierce sense of style. With ‘X Factor,’ this is her moment and it brings the brand to the forefront of the consumer’s mind."
