Steven Tyler injured in fall

Aerosmith frontman slips in shower in Paraguay.

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler was hospitalized after a bad fall in the shower of a hotel room in Paraguay on Tuesday (October 25), reports NY Daily News.

The 63-year-old rock star suffered a cut on his forehead, bruising to his face and even lost two teeth, according to reports in the local newspaper. He was taken from the Bourbon Hotel in Asuncion to the local emergency room around 2:10 p.m. and underwent a CT scan.

The singer was discharged from the hospital about four hours later, walking out on his own. Unfortunately, the concert planned for that evening had to be postponed until October 26.

This was not the first bad fall for Steven Tyler. In 2009 in South Dakota, he fell from the stage while performing Love in an Elevator and was hospitalized and treated for minor injuries to the head and neck.

“My dad takes a lickin but always keeps on tickin," his daughter, Mia Tyler, Tweeted Tuesday night. "Can’t nothin bring down the Demon of Screamin!" She thanked her father’s fans for "all the love regarding my dad and his accident."

"He is recovering and doing much better. I will pass on all the well wishes."
