Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars to perform at European Music Awards

Selena Gomez to host MTV EMA on November 6.

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have joined the slate of performers set to take the stage at the MTV European Music Awards on November 6 in Belfast, Ireland.

The show, hosted by Selena Gomez, will also include performances from Red Hot Chili Peppers, LMFAO, Coldplay, and Jessie J. Jersey Shore personalities Snooki and JWoww and Awkward actress Ashley Rickards have been tapped to hand out the awards.

Gaga leads the nominations, up for six awards including best female, best live act and biggest fans. Mars is tied with Katy Perry with four nominations apiece, in the running for best male and best new artist, while his hit single, Grenade, is up for best song and best pop song.

Justin Bieber, Adele and Thirty Seconds to Mars have each scored three nominations. Other notable nominees include Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, Eminem, Jennifer Lopez, Snoop Dogg, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, and Beyoncé.
