R&B singer Rihanna will feature as a guest judge on tonight’s two-hour episode of The X Factor (October 13), reports Billboard.
The singer will join judge L.A. Reid – the Grammy-award winning record producer who helped launch Rihanna herself to stardom – as he coaches the male singers in his own home. Leaked photos show the R&B star dressed casually in a denim button-down shirt and tight jeans as she hangs out with Reid and greets the contestants.
The episode was originally scheduled to air last night, but a two-hour rain delay pushed back the baseball game preceding it, forcing Fox to air it a day later. The episode originally scheduled for tonight will instead air on Sunday, with the show returning to its regular schedule next Tuesday.
Rihanna is no stranger to playing judge on the reality singing competition, having previously guested on the U.K. version of the show last year. Tonight’s appearance will help promote her upcoming album, Talk That Talk, which is due out November 21.
