If you’re looking for a scare this Halloween, why not try ghost hunting in Old Montreal? A local tour company, Fantômes Montréal Ghosts, which offers both traditional ghost walks and interactive ghost hunts, is hosting a special Halloween ghost hunt on October 27, 28 and 29.
Guests will be greeted by the Great Master, and given objects that will help them find the ‘ghosts’ hanging around Old Montreal’s cobblestone streets. The tour group will be divided into teams and sent out to meet these unearthly individuals.
"New-France characters, victims, criminals, good and evil will be sharing their life stories… but mostly their death," explains the official website.
Tours begin each evening at 6:30 p.m. and are expected to last about 90 minutes. Tickets cost $21.50 for adults, $18.50 for students (with ID), and $12.50 for children 12 and under. Reservations are mandatory and can be made through the tour website. Group rates are also available.
