Nirvana’s Nevermind gets special re-release in honor of its 20th anniversary.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s iconic grunge album, several special editions of Nevermind have today been released, available in a number of formats including a super-deluxe edition with a 90-page collector’s book, an individually-numbered limited edition, and a 2-CD and 4-LP 180-gram vinyl edition.

The Butch Vig-produced album was first released on September 24, 1991, and features some of the band’s most famous tracks, such as Smells Like Teen Spirit, In Bloom, Lithium and Come as You Are.

Today also marks the release of The Discovery Studio Album Box Set for Pink Floyd, featuring remastered original recordings of 14 of the British band’s best-known albums – including Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall – in a 16-CD box set.

American pop punk rockers Blink-182 release their sixth studio album, Neighborhoods, their first new recording in eight years. The album contains the singles Up All Night and After Midnight.

Also out today, alt rock band Wilco releases its eighth studio album, The Whole Love, and Icelandic singer Björk releases her newest studio album, Biophilia, part of an elaborate multimedia project being carried out in conjunction with Apple.
