Bono sings with INXS

Tiny Summer now streaming on band’s website.

Australian alt rockers INXS have released a new demo, Tiny Summer, featuring the vocals of none other than U2 frontman Bono, reports Music News.

"Recently at a party I met a fellow songwriter… an Irish bloke, and we sat around playing songs on acoustic guitars," INXS keyboardist and composer Andrew Farriss wrote in a note that accompanied the demo on the band’s official website.

The band also confirmed that they have parted ways with former frontman J.D. Fortune, who first joined the band in 2006 after winning the reality show Rock Star: INXS.

"There has been a lot of speculation in the media regarding INXS and JD Fortune," explains the band’s website. "To all our friends and family, we would like to say we have gone our separate ways to pursue different musical paths. This was a mutual and amicable decision. We would like to thank JD for all the memories, and wish him all the best for his future endeavors."
