Lil Wayne already back at work on another album

Rapper plans to finish long-delayed project with MC Juelz Santana.

Even though his hit record Tha Carter IV only hit shelves last month, rapper Lil Wayne is already back at work, trying to finish a long-delayed collaborative project with MC Juelz Santana.

Five years ago, the duo came together to begin work on a mixtape called I Can’t Feel My Face. After several of the tracks leaked, they announced that they would be turning the project into a full album, but the LP never materialized.

Now that he is out of jail and his solo album is tearing up the charts, Wayne plans to return to work on the much-delayed album, label president Mack Maine told XXLMag: "The next project he’s working on is ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’ with [Juelz Santana]," he said. "Elz is a talented man. He’s a young legend. [Wayne’s] back working in the studio."

Maine also confirmed that Wayne and his Young Money crew will record a follow-up to their 2009 album We Are Young Money: "It won’t take long," promised Maine. "Too much creativity for it to take a long time."
