Due out October 31, the album is a re-working material Reed contributed to the operatic score of German playwright Frank Wedekind’s Lulu with heavy metal band Metallica.
The iconic musician told New York Magazine that his version of the opera’s score is nothing less than “awe-inspiring.” Reed revealed,"it’s maybe the best thing done by anyone, ever. It could create another planetary system. I’m not joking, and I’m not being egotistical."
