French fashion house Christian Dior has unveiled its new fall ad campaign starring Oscar-winning French actress Marion Cotillard sporting the Miss Dior handbag, reports Luxuo.
Photographed by Mikael Jansson, the La Vie en Rose star is captivating in softly-lit autumnal photographs wearing tweed outfits, and carrying the new rectangular Miss Dior bag.
In each of three photos, she presents a purse of a different texture: quilted lambskin, python, or crocodile.
The classic bag features a metal chain strap that allows it to be worn over the shoulder or in the popular cross-body fashion. It also comes with a key and lockable clasp, Dior charms, and a tiny pouch.
Marion Cotillard has represented Dior since 2008. She gave birth to her first child, Marcel, in May this year – just prior to her Miss Dior fashion shoot. The 35-year-old actress lives with French actor and director Guillaume Canet. She can be seen on the big screen in the blockbuster thriller Contagion alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, and Jude Law. The Inception star is currently filming The Dark Knight Rises with Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway.
The French fashion house is currently searching for a new creative director ever since John Galliano was fired in March this year. The brand is owned by French luxury group LMVH, which also owns Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, and Fendi, among others.
