Nickelback to release new album in November

Canadian super group set to debut anticipated follow-up to 2008’s Dark Horse.

Nickelback have announced that their seventh album Here and Now will debut on November 21, marking their first new LP in more than three years, according to Rolling Stone.

The Canuck rockers self-produced the album at the famed Mountain View Studios in Vancouver and two singles – hitting radio simultaneously – will herald its release: When We Stand Together and Bottoms Up." The foursome plan to promote the album with a major tour slated to begin early next year.

Comprising Alberta natives Chad Kroeger (lead vocals), Ryan Peake (rhythm and lead guitar), Mike Kroeger (bass), and Daniel Adair (drums), the band has been on hiatus since releasing the Mutt Lange-produced Dark Horse in 2008 (featuring smash singles Gotta Be Somebody, Something In Your Mouth and If Today Was Your Last Day).

The critically-acclaimed group have received 12 Juno Awards and seven MuchMusic Video Awards to date. They’ve also received two American Music Awards, three Billboard Music Awards and have been nominated for six Grammy Awards.
