A week after announcing she was pregnant with her first child, pop singer Beyoncé has celebrated another big milestone in her life.
On Sunday (September 4), the star celebrated the big 3-0 with husband, Jay-Z, 41, in Venice, Italy, reports People. The couple were photographed as they were heading out for a fancy birthday dinner.
Over the weekend, they rented a luxury yacht and enjoyed the sun, as the city hosted celebrities like George Clooney and Kate Winslet at the Venice Film Festival. Beyoncé enjoyed a visit with friend actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who was in town to promote her new film Contagion.
It was only about a week ago when the Crazy in Love singer announced her pregnancy during MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28.
She performed her song Love on Top, and asked the audience at the beginning of the song, "I want you to stand up on your feet. I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me."
At the end of her performance, the beaming singer unbuttoned her sparkly jacket, and rubbed her abdomen.
An inside source said Beyoncé is "close to three months along" in her pregnancy, adding, "She wasn’t going to announce it but she is so excited she couldn’t hold it in."
Beyoncé’s due date is February 2012 according to reports.
